I have completed my outline for this blog post on a google doc! To view my outline, please click "HERE".

Reflection:
After reading through Rachel and Lauren's outlines, I realized that my draft could have been a little more detailed. Rachel provided a lot of contextual evidence in her outline. Additionally, Lauren explained what she would be writing in her body paragraphs and provided a topic sentence/analytical claim for each. Although I thought I organized and planned my ideas well, after viewing the outlines of my classmates, I found that I could have done a lot more in my own. I clearly organize how I am going to write my draft, but not enough on what specifically I will be writing about. However, as I move forward with my draft, I will still be referencing my outline a lot and making changes from my original plans.

  1. I really like how you incorporated parts of the reading into your outline. I think this is a really helpful part for your composition. I feel as though your discussion of the author's credibility in the thesis is a little clunky and unnecessary. Putting this information in another place would be best, I think. I like the broadening through the effect of your thesis in the conclusion. This is an interesting and relevant way to end the piece. Great job!

  2. Your outline is so different than mine, and in my opinion more specific, but I really like it! I can see how it will work for your overall project and how it has helped you organize your ideas. Overall great job!
