Annotated Bibliography in APA Style

The following sources listed in my APA style annotated bibliography are sources used in my last few blog posts. For an example citation chart, follow this link, for an example of an APA style annotated bibliography, follow this link.

**Because of issues with formatting, my annotated bibliography in APA style can be accessed through my Google Drive!**

Reflection:
After viewing Thomas' annotated bibliography, which was also in APA style, I realized that although we used different style guides, the formatting was the same (as it should have been). His responses to his sources were concise and he also did a good job explaining how he would further use the sources in his work. Thomas and I both struggled with the formatting of our citations in blogger, however, they look fairly similar. However, in Chloe's annotated bibliography, there is no specific citation format for her major! In her bibliography she calls it, "Journal of Neuroscience Style." The formatting for her citation is very different from APA's format, the text seems more informal in comparison. I find it very interesting (and annoying) that there are multiple citation styles depending on the subject or field. In the past, I have only been familiar with MLA or Chicago style. However, I have to start getting used to APA style or AP style according to my major!

  1. There are only two things that I noticed that were different than the example you based your post off of. One, which I struggled with as well, is keeping a hanging indent for your citations (Google Docs may help!). Then just a minor thing, when there are multiple authors the example uses an ampersand (&) next to the last authors name. However, your summaries are very well written! I especially like how you explain how you will you use these sources later on.
